ElectHer, one of the partners in the European Union Support to Democratic Governance in Nigeria (EU-SDGNII) on Friday February 24 unveiled its Election Hub with the objective of sharing data and information, engaging citizens, advancing women’s political participation, and strengthen Nigeria’s democratic process.

The election hub comprises a data hub based in Lagos which will serve as engine room for live podcast production which would stream live conversations across social media platforms on issues relating to voting, polls analysis and citizens’ feedback before, during and immediately after Saturday’s presidential elections..

The hub also has what is termed _Hernalytics_ which incorporates the E-Buddy for citizens’ observation and an election information dashboard for visualization and analysis of results.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of ElectHer, Ibijoke Faborode, the organisation will after the elections, present a Nigeria 2023 Female Candidacy Analysis report on the performance of female candidates in the elections.

“We hope some, if not all of the women we supported and empowered through the EU-SDGNII would get elected in the national and state elections”, Ms. Faborode told NDR at the event held at Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
