The timing of the publication, during electioneering, suggests a breakout of violence, which could trigger a negative reaction from citizens and heighten tension. The introduction of violence can stir up controversy and lead to mistrust in the process. The claim has garnered a series of immediate reactions. Verification
Using the Google reverse image search shows that the picture was first posted by IgbereTv in 2018, where a supporter of APGA chieftain was attacked and injured following a crisis within the party. here, and here.
