More results of Saturday’s governorship election have been announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Some of the results show that Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state the APC gubernatorial candidate was re-elected by a total of 276,298 votes defeating his closest rival Oladipo Adebutu of the PDP who scored 262, 383 votes and Otegbeye of ADC who received 94,754 votes.

In Akwa Ibom state Pastor Umoh Bassey Eno of the Peoples Democratic Party won convincingly with 356,346 votes to defeat Senator Bassey Akpan of the APC who scored 136,262 votes.

In Jigawa, the candidate of the APC emerged victorious with a landslide vote of 618,449 to defeat his closest rival Mustapha Lamido of the PDP who scored 368,726 votes. The APC candidate won with a marging of 249,723 votes.
