As his administration approaches its 100th day in office, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday assigned portfolios to the 45 ministerial nominees who will serve in his cabinet.

This development was revealed in a list released by Ajuri Ngelale, Senior Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, following the screening and ratification of ministerial nominees by the Senate last week.

The Senate did not approve three names submitted by the president, including the name of former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El Rufai, Abubakar Dalandi, and Stella Okotete, due to none security clearance.

According to the list, the president appointed Mr. Wale Edun of Ogun State as Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Bosun Tijani as Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, and Festus Keyamo as Minister of Aviation.

Mr Dele Alake was surprisingly appointed as the minister of Solid Mineral Development and Tourism, while the former governor of Rivers state was assigned as the minister of the Federal Capital Territory, and David Umahi, the former governor of Ebonyi, was appointed as the minister of Works.

It should be noted that, the list does not have a minister from Kaduna State yet, which is against the Nigeria constitution which stipulates that ministers must be selected from all states in the country
